I am having dish 1000 installed Sunday. I asked and was approved for a DP44 from CEO office after arguiing with local DISH installation team manager who said he would not give me one. I told him that he had to due to needing one for 4th satellite needed to get a couple lame locals and a shopping channel for Seattle DMA.

He was a punk and pushed my install back to April 9th and claimed that by that day the 4th bird Seattle channels will have been moved to 110.

I am hopeful this has not happened yet. I still have Daves number if he plays games but it would be nice to give him no other option then the 44.

I currently have 2 34's but had to rig a 175ft rg6 around my home when I had 921 installed. I want second cable GONE!

Dont really give a darn about those few channels on 4th bird, but it is a good force to give me the 44.

If you want mediocre signal install a second dish. If you want no signal install a DISH1000. Either way you're going to be pulling your hair out.

I have modifyed my old 30 inch Voom dish for 129. I just need to take the DP Lnb off the dish 1000 when they leave. I am aware of the signal issue.

My need for the extra dish is just a ruse to get a DP44 as promised 2 months ago that the local DIsh installer rudely denied me.

But the dish 1000 will be 3 lnbs and the extra dish with be 4th. My 34's only allow 3 inputs. So WALLLAAA I need the DP44!

When they leave extra dish comes down too!

Need Help with a dish install.
