Do wireless Joey's come with the new 52 remote or the old 40's?

I am adding a wireless Joey to my Hopper 3 set up on Sunday and wondered what remote they come with? My parent's had wireless Joeys installed with their H3 on 2/1 and they have the old 40 remotes. I am hoping they now come with the new (and improved in my opinion) 52 remote - or that I can persuade the installer to swap them out to the new style.

Odd my Joey 2 came with the 52 remote when it was installed with the Hopper 3.

Ditto: A 52 came with my Joey2 when I upgraded to Hopper3. A 40 came with my 4k Joey.

I'm getting mixed answers on this now.... I think you will likely just need to wait and see! I heard 52s when there is a H3 installed, but it still can be a 40, so who knows!

Thanks for looking into it. I bet the installer can make a difference (like in all things).

Both my WJ's came with the 40.0 back in February when I updated to the H3.

My Joey 2.0 had a 52. The 4K Joey had a 40.0.

Just to update this... installer gave me a 52 remote with the wireless Joey. The 40 is what comes in the box but since I asked for a 52 and have a Hopper 3 he switched them out. Your milage may vary by installer.
