Anyone ever have the remote die? Yes i changed the batteries. Can move the dish with the buttons but the remote seems dead. Worked fine on Friday. Tried it today and nothing!

I've never had mine kick but I have had a button stick under the cover sometimes and that kept it from working. Also, have to aim it right at it or it won't work.

Get out your digital camera and turn it on. Aim it at the remote, and press buttons on the remote. Do you see the camera screen light up? If so, the remote is good...

Good one with the camera. I forgot all about that! Yea its the remote. I contacted DMS and a replacement remote is around $10 shipped.

Perhaps spend another $20 and get a new unit aswell

Turns out it was a broken connection from the battery to the board. Lil solder and good as new.
