Raleigh fox50 raleigh wral 5

I was watching family fued this afternoon and a commercial came on about wral 5 and wraz 50 about there contract expiring with directv at the end of the year. Has anyone else heard about this? It's actually a contract ending between Capitol brocasting which owns wral 5 and wraz 50 and directv

Can't be true... the DTV fanboys assured me that Dish was the only service that EVER has contract disputes :)

Yawn, wake me up when they disappear.. oh wait.. I'm not sure I normally watch anything on them anyway, and I have a nice OTA antenna if the world threatens to end.

Looks like a possible dispute brewing between Directv and Capitol Broadcasting, as the stations have started showing information about it.

These are the possible stations involved (don't know if these are all carried by Directv, this is what Capitol owns):
WRAL-TV 5 (CBS This TV, Raleigh, NC)
WRAZ 50 (Fox, Raleigh, NC) and WRAZ-DT 50.2 (Me-TV Network, Raleigh, NC, Durham Bulls TV outlet)
WJZY-TV 46 (The CW, Belmont, NC/Charlotte, NC)
WMYT-TV 55 "My TV 12" (My Network TV, Rock Hill, SC/Charlotte, NC)
WILM-LD 10 (CBS, Wilmington, NC)

Directv indicates they should be good until the end of the year:

D* doesn't say they never have disputes, they say they generally get resolved before they get taken off the air .... BIG DIFFERENCE.
