i just wish this was done and over with these dispute so i can be alot happier
Are you seriously that unhappy because of a channel dispute. You have major first world problems.
i just wish this was done and over with these dispute so i can be alot happier
prove it
it has been shown many times dish is ~$5 less than a comparable dtv package. neither can compare to a cable bundle.
And you are the epitome of fairness, right? You are wasting your time trying to argue with these people. They proudly call themselves "Charlie's Angels" for their die-hard support for Charlie Ergen and Dish Network. Nothing you can say will change their minds.

Disney requested a high increase, and I think many people at this board have indicated how they feel about it. They over bid for programming and then force us to pay for it.
Fox lost programming rights, split up channels and diluted their programming. And now they want higher fees for those channels that are still under contract and are using FNC viewers as pawns to do it.
You can't keep making things up and expect everyone to just say you are right.
"but it would be much more than that had Dish not held the line."
prove it.

"these people"... ..."Charlie's Angels"...
Allright to make it basic for you with all the new pricing in effect. The plan is $4 difference, but the equipment getting it to your TV is more. You really need to pay attention to the details to ensure you are not ripped off.
Top 200 for Dish is $74.99 for 236 channels
Hopper DVR Fee $12
1st TV fee included
2nd TV charge $7
Xtra for Directv is $78.99
Whole HOme DVR fee $15
1st TV charge $6
2nd TV charge $6
Fee for local RSN ???????
You are really going to argue Dish's $93.99 versus $105.99 for the "most popular" packages? Make sure you include the typical component. Maybe you get a few extra RSNs, maybe not. Directv has to pay for the Sunday Ticket charge. Dish has Pac 12. There are some other differences.
Proof is in the pudding. You need to admit you are wrong.
My RSN fee with Direct would be $3.00 more added to the bill.
Actually, the math is pretty simple. If, for instance, I choose not to subscribe to ESPN in this a la carte scenario, I pay ~$5 less per month. No, I am fully aware of that. You fail to understand all the back room fixed costs that have to be captured across the fewer channels (and revenue) a customer subscribes to. You are over simplifying life, unfortunately.
Same here, I got the $50 yesterday, PPV email on Saturday....
I got my PPV certs via snail mail. I wonder if I'll get an email too?Just received an email with two PPV certificates! If this is part of the DishStandsByYou, this is the best channel dispute of all time! Does TLC want to have a dispute? Granted, I've never used one, but maybe I will this time around.
The RSN is more likely going to be on the bill.midnight lounge with dish would be $318.89 added to the bill.
What are you proving by posting this link? You're just showing how DirecTV's package prices are higher but you are not showing comparable equipment prices and that's where prices can really add up.
The RSN is more likely going to be on the bill.
For single receiver households, Dish is mildly cheaper than Directv. Now you may get more with Directv, Super Rugby, Champions League coverage, but in general, you'll save a few bucks with Dish over Directv if you have a single receiver. The difference gets smaller for multiple receiver homes.
I don't know why some people get so uppity about this being true.
