DishOnline Problems Weird Warning

About a two weeks ago I hooked up the Dish 622 (L616) to the interweb with an ethernet cable. I downloaded 3 of the 1080p "The Beast" episodes and the handful of Battlestar Galactica webisodes. Watched them, and then left them alone.

Last night I went to see what else is there. I noticed that my downloads were all gone... I guess they expired. So I find a A&E HD show and decide to download it while the Presidential speech is going.

The receiver wouldn't let me, giving me the Warning:

Message 975 - your DishONLINE event storage is full. To download additional events, delete previously-viewed events from the My Downloads Edit screen or delete scheduled events from the Download List Edit Screen.

So I check, yep, I don't have any downloads, I don't have anything to delete. I have room for 2 hours of HD recording on the standard DVR menu. So I figure, I'll call support. Well that was a waste of time. They don't even recognize the 975 message number and keep asking me about the My Rentals screen. A screen I don't have, I have a My Downloads screen. In the end, after 30 minutes on the phone they write it up and send it to the help desk. I inquire, am I not speaking to the "help desk"? blah blah blah..

Tonight I rebooted the box. Take a look and nope, still same warning. I then try to download a The Beast again. This time I get the message:

Message 913 - This DishONLINE event is already rented. It can be found in the My Rentals list or the Download List (accessed through the My Rentals screen).

WTH.. I don't have it anymore. And I don't have a My Rentals list anywhere. Could the version of the software on my receiver have a split personality? Anyone else had similar issues?

At some point in the last couple days I received l617... The issue is now gone. Hopefully no new ones show up.

Stupid system.... So with L617 try to download two FREE HD shows. Intervention Episode 75, Manhunters Episode 6. Then I try to add another manhunters... nope, message that I have no more room, even though nothing has downloaded yet. And the first thing I selected has been downloading for 3 hours so far as is at 0.00 Mb/s and 0%.

A waste of my time to run a cable I guess.

Sounds like something is corrupt on your DVR. Time to reset the thing and have it reformat.

Maybe is.. I'll need to get an external drive before doing that I think. Today it then never downloaded #2 of the two items I asked it to. And in the My Downloads list it had a bunch of stuff that had disappeared before, prior to L617. I'd say it's acting up.
