About a two weeks ago I hooked up the Dish 622 (L616) to the interweb with an ethernet cable. I downloaded 3 of the 1080p "The Beast" episodes and the handful of Battlestar Galactica webisodes. Watched them, and then left them alone.
Last night I went to see what else is there. I noticed that my downloads were all gone... I guess they expired. So I find a A&E HD show and decide to download it while the Presidential speech is going.
The receiver wouldn't let me, giving me the Warning:
So I check, yep, I don't have any downloads, I don't have anything to delete. I have room for 2 hours of HD recording on the standard DVR menu. So I figure, I'll call support. Well that was a waste of time. They don't even recognize the 975 message number and keep asking me about the My Rentals screen. A screen I don't have, I have a My Downloads screen. In the end, after 30 minutes on the phone they write it up and send it to the help desk. I inquire, am I not speaking to the "help desk"? blah blah blah..
Tonight I rebooted the box. Take a look and nope, still same warning. I then try to download a The Beast again. This time I get the message:
WTH.. I don't have it anymore. And I don't have a My Rentals list anywhere. Could the version of the software on my receiver have a split personality? Anyone else had similar issues?
