DishOnline free content

You know, I'm really happy that Dish finally put out some free content in the DishOnline section. But does anyone else notice that the selection of shows looks like the DVD bin at the dollar store? Really strange crap that nobody's ever heard of, and only a shut-in would bother watching. What would be great, would be to have shows from channels you subscribe to that you can fetch anytime you want. If you don't subscribe to that channel, you can't download the show. But I guess that would make too much sense.

I think that it is a good start . At least it is FREE content and it loads pretty fast too. Now if they would add a premium movie section so if you sub to a premium pack, so you could get the shows in that pack free as well. Even better do it in HD.

Dish Online is IPTV (INTERNET) based downloads. Starz is currently downloaded from the satellite in advance.

The starz video on demand channel never has any movies when I try to watch them. I don't know what is going on with that channel.

Free HD VOD please, D* is far ahead of E* now, but even D* has a lot catching up to do compared to cable. Just to show how far behind E* is.

Go into DishOnline, then down to Tv Entertainment and you'll find fine choices like "Bizarre Donkey"

Hopefully they will organize the programs by channel down the road. Hard to find shows you're interested in just by title.

My 722 was one of the first to get 6.10, my 622 still doesn't have it.

I still have 5.12 on my 622. All I see under "TV Entertainment" is "coming soon". Why don't they throw us a bone with some free movies just to get us interested?

I agree. The only ones I found that were free are under "TV entertainment". No free movies.

I have nothing under TV entertainment either. Also nothing under video highlights on the olympic interactive.
