Dishnetwork using 3-lnb 18x22 direct tv dish

as topic states I currently have direct tv installed and when i check the signal meters i see i am getting 101, 110 and 119 spot on.. when i connect the dishnetwork vip222 dual tuner using the supplied triplexer or without it i am not getting any signal at all. are they backward compatible or would i need a new lnb for the dish to receive dish network programming

They aren't compatible at all. Each uses proprietary signaling to choose slot and transponder.

I can't imagine what made you think they were.

Why are you so, well, harsh? The legacy LNBs used to be compatible!

The 110 LNB has never been compatible and the switching system on the 119 is not compatible and never has been compatible. DISH has no broadcasting on the 101 which is the only compatible LNB.
