Just an FYI... the video streams and transponders are still active. The simply removed the channels from the tables so your receiver no longer sees them.

It will be interesting to see how long they will hang around. Would this just be a tactic by Dish to put pressure on Voom to get what they want?

Wanna see full tables in your PM ? I think your algo have a bug ;).

BTW, they make other sign - the version wasn't in order: last at 5pm PDT was #24, they skip #25 and this last one have #26 !

Shouldn't this be called an "unlink" report?

Voom did this to themselves. They lied and didn't spend the money on making content. They had a golden goose in DISH that took them from tens of thousands of subscribers to literally millions and then they just sat on their thumbs. They could have been something real good eventually, but they took for granted what DISH gave them and pushed themselves towards irrelevance.

I sure hope so. I just registered my disappointment with a chat representative who apologized when I pointed out that 22-15=7.

Damn, I had a bunch of movies set to record. Why get rid of the Voom channels if you aren't going to put anything in their place?

By the way, those two "slates" are now running a loop bragging about their new 22 channels and promising 100 by the end of the year.

I wonder where I've seen that satellite with all the TV pictures on it before...?

interesting note: I just dvr'ed a minute of it; the event is titled "Montreux Jazz Festival 1997" - leftovers in the epg, I guess.

Uplink Activity 5/12/08 11:55 PM EDT 10 VOOMs gone.
