DIshnet and WMC

I was wondering, Is there anyway to get Dishnet to work w/ a Home theater PC like this one... http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INT...ryName=cpu_DigitalLivingSystem&Dept=computers
I guess i could hook up a reciever to it but is there anyway to go straight from the dish to the system. I dont know how adding a reciever into the mix would mess with the software and waht not.

You would have to go from the dish receiver to the computer by way of any number of cables. Dish cant be captured onto a computer in the way your thinking wich if GB hasnt seen this thread yet would be considered hack talk to some.

well i dont want any hack talk on this, i only want to do it legit. Thanks for your info, when will dish ever come out w/ there PCI-card reciver to many people want them lol.

Doubt dish will ever come out a pci receiver
I come out of my receiver right into my capture card.

.. there is leagal ways of doing things with a pci sat card and there are other ways.. the other ways are illegal.. The best way would be to hook up a tv tuner card and capture through that and a dish reciver. The no hack talk is the forum rules.. I just inforce them Its nothing personal
