Hi everyone,
I teach physics in high school and I'm also running an after-school program where we're designing and building our own science center. The kids want to build a 'Whisper Dish' type exhibit, where 2 big dishes across a field or hallway will reflect each other's voices. Great demo about sound and parabolas.
Making this type of exhibit seems pretty straight forward - we just need 2 dishes around 6' - 8' diameter. My students are making calls around to dish removal services, etc but they're mostly the small Dish network style. We think around 6' and solid (non-mesh) would work best. We have welding equipment for a base. Any suggestions on obtaining some? I'm in San Diego if anyone's local and knows something.
Thanks everyone!
Jon

Don't think you'd be able to get an FTA Birdview owner to let it go, for any price.
Bet an offset variety would work as well with it even being smaller. You wouldn't have to stand in the 'path'.
