Dish500 FAT LNB & FTA Receiver

Hi,

Is it possible to use my existing Dish 500 LNB and Dish with an FTA receiver? I've read that it may not be compatible. Its an LNB that points to 110 and 119.

What are you trying to pick up?
The ever compelling "you have a dish 500" or the even more compelling "you need a 2nd dish to view this channel" because that's all you'll get

If you are trying to steal service, this is not the place to ask

The intent is to purchase an FTA receiver and use my existing dish 500 equipment to pick up some PBS channels. I can't get them on cable clearly.

If you are trying to get the PBS stations on AMC3, you need at least a 30" (76cm) dish and KU band LNBF. The Dish500 won't work
