Hello ,

This is my first post and I would like to thank you for any feedback in advance!!
I had a Dish 500 installed with 522 and 301 receivers. Dish Network came out and installed a Dish 1000 a few months back and both Tv's attached to the 522 work fine. When I went down to turn on the 301, I discovered it was not connected. I am pretty familiar with most types of wiring but just vaguely familiar with dish wiring. I have a Dish 34 switch but it is no longer being used. It appears that the two coaxial leads coming from the dish are wired to a ground block and then go to the 522 where there is a separator. I am having trouble getting both receivers connected. Can anyone help me with the wiring configuration to get both receivers connected? I am getting ready to try and connect one dish lead to the separator and then to the 522 and use the second dish lead to the 301 receiver. I tried using the switch but I saw in the 1000 manual that the 34 switch would not work, you had to have a 44 switch.

Please help, Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

One line from the dish to the separator which then connects to the 522's two sat-in ports. The second cable from the dish should go to the other receiver's sat-in. You should also have a line from the 522 to a second TV.
