Dish w/local channels

Well it's completely wrong. There have NEVER been HD locals from 119. HD locals come from 99 or 103. SD locals come from 101 or 119 depending on where you are located.

This is what was in the current Ebay description - "You can receive HD local programming if your local channel is broadcasted from one of DIRECTV's satellites located at 101, 110, 119 orbital locations."

Well it's completely wrong. There have NEVER been HD locals from 119. HD locals come from 99 or 103. SD locals come from 101 or 119 depending on where you are located.

You may be able to still pick up your SD Locals using that dish from the 119 sat... (If they are still there), but the HD channels will not come from the 119, thus that dish you got will not pick up your HD channels your looking for.

Like I said, the 110 satellite used to carry the hd channels, but no more. Those were only the national ones. The local hd channels have only been transmitted from either 99 or 103.

You may be able to still pick up your SD Locals using that dish from the 119 sat... (If they are still there)

Green Bay SD locals ARE, in fact, still located on 119.

Sorry dc, you ain't going to be getting ANY HD channels - including your locals - in HD, with that P3 dish you have!

Actually there is two Spanish HD station on 119
Mega and Telefutura West
