When is dish vod going to happen?are they going to do it on the dish 501?

Why not post your question in the VOD thread at the top of the page? BTW, if you had read through it before posting, you may have even found your answer first. Scott posted quite a bit of info there. He's probably the most Dish-knowledgable Sat/DBS forum administrator on the Net.
