Dish VIP722k program guide sluggish

Hi all, for the last few weeks when attempting to scroll around the program guide looking for shows to record, it moves very slowly. Not every time, but more often than not. The unit is about 7 months old, I'm pointed to 119 & 129 for service, the dvr hard drive is appx 60% full (or less), it happens whether it's recording or not, whether I'm watching "live" or from the dvr. If I reset (pull the power cord and replug it) it works normally, until it doesn't. Anybody experience similar issues, or is this thing dying?
