Hi,

I have a VIP222k main receiver (TV1) in my family room and TV2 in my bedroom. I would like to add another tv (TV3) in the patio area (near to the bedroom) and I would like to know what switch I need to give signal to that TV.
I was told that if you split the signal that is going to tv2 I can add tv3 and if I put a UHF control antenna I can still use the TV2 control and change what I'm watching in TV3 (I don't plan to use both tvs at once). Is this correct?

Yes, you can just use TV2 remote as they will be "mirrored" TVs. Depending on your setup, you can just use a splitter at the TV2 location and run a line to each TV

All you need is a TV RF splitter on the TV2 output from the 222k. You can buy extra remotes on eBay for not a lot of money or just carry it between patio and bedroom. You will only get standard definition from TV2.

Looking at switching to Dish From 4 years of DTV

722K and OTA
