Dish has confirmed it will offer next-day coverage of this month’s 2018 Winter Olympics in 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range).

“Tune to channel 100 to watch NBC, NBCSN, CNBC, and USA channels all at once with the NBC Olympics TV Experience,” the page states. “Tune to channel 540 for 4K replays of the previous day’s events.”

The 4K HDR video from South Korea, which will be made available on a 24-hour delay, will include the Opening Ceremony, ski jumping, short track speed skating, figure skating, hockey and snowboarding.

NBC, which is owned by Comcast, and has the rights to broadcast the games in the U.S., says it will produce as many as four events in 4K HDR on each day of the games.

Well, better than nothing, but I was hoping they'd have a "live" 4K version of the NBC nightly coverage.
