You don’t see channel 540?I have USA and CNBC showing under 147 and no 4K channel.
Take a look for channel 147-05. That’s where they have moved channel 540 to.No 540, no NBCSN, no Olympic channel. I guess a Flex limitation. I bet if I upgrade to AT200 for two weeks I lose the price guarantee too.
Channel 540 has been removed. Give the guide a day or so to break out events.147-05 does show on my program guide, named simply “4K”. 540 does not.
Unfortunately, the guide currently says “off air” until 9PM Friday (Pacific time), and then switches to ‘“Olympics 2018” in 12-hour blocks. This is not exactly helpful in terms of scheduling events to record. Now, it could easily be that NBC hasn’t provided that info yet, or even that the Korean hosts haven’t given NBC their 4K schedule. But enquiring minds would really like to know.

that's what we are here for, glad to help...It doesn’t matter to me in the slightest, but the original Dish press release that I saw listed both 540 and 147-05. I was just reporting what I saw, for the benefit of others, not complaining about something missing. I just got my 4K TV on Black Friday, and my Hopper 3 pretty much exactly when Dish dropped 540, so I have no prior experience with Dish 4K coverage, and no idea what to expect. I do try to find out as much as possible when I get into something new like this, hence all my questions. Thank you for all your patient responses.
How do you find whether your 4K TV is HDR?
Nope, other than my local NBC station, all I have is 147-02 and 147-03.Take a look for channel 147-05. That’s where they have moved channel 540 to.
Yep, seems like a Flex limitation indeed. You might try to add sport to your package to see if it comes up. If it doesn’t you can immediately cancel that and you will only pay for one day.Nope, other than my local NBC station, all I have is 147-02 and 147-03.
Just tune to Ch. 147-05. If you can see it, then your TV set is HDR compatible.[/
The 147-05 channel give aan error message that the format is not supported. I then looked up the dish support for 4k site and it said 540 would be for non HDR 4k. However , 540 is not on the guide yet.
