IF you were NOT looking to become a Sub, or already a Sub ....
Theres is NO REASON to Buy the recvr.

Why would You buy it outright IF you were not going to Sub it ?

You might have intentions of connecting it and and subscribing and then never do. Or you might be a sub but cancel after a few weeks and decide it's not your thing.
Whereas through dish 90% of the time they are getting a two year commitment that carries a penalty for canceling early.

I am curious. Those of us that have 2 H3s setups had to purchase the 2nd H3. If you have the Service plan and the purchased H3 fails , does Dish replace it and do you still own it?
