Thinking of switching to Dish. Do they have MLB Extra Innings? Can you still see the games after they dropped the Fox Sports RSN?

Also do they have 4k? Will there be college football and NFL Thursday Night games in 4K?

Thank you!

Yes, MLB Extra Innings is available for Extra $$$.

4K, Yes & No. Dish TV did show a few NCAA games last year, No marque games though. Dish TV seems to not care about 4K, IMO!

Yes to the first part. But for your in-market team if you lost a Fox Sports RSN, you can't buy Extra Innings then gain access to your games - those extra innings games are still blacked out. Someone out of market can see the games that were on the Fox Sports RSN's though via Extra Innings.

Let's what constitutes a few NCAA games and what is designated marquee. This is what has been televised in 4K over the last 2 years:
2017
Nebraska at Illinois
Kansas St at Texas
Baylor at Oklahoma St
Arizona st at Utah
Minnesota at Iowa
Kansas St at Texas Tech
Nebraska at Penn St

2018
San Diego St at Stanford
Western Michigan at Michigan
Fresno St at UCLA
Penn St at Illinois
Oregon at California
California at Arizona
Purdue at Illinois
Illinois at Wisconsin
Baylor at West Virginia
USC at Oregon St
TCU at West Virginia
TCU at Baylor
Texas at Kansas

While not yet announced there is a good probability of another slate of games this year including:

Miami (OH) at Iowa
California at Washington
Iowa at Iowa St

All of these games were/will be televised on FS1 and the DISH 4K channel 540-01. DISH has a contract with FS1. Last year there was an NCAA college football game televised in 4K on DISH every weekend of the non Bowl season... The majority of them included teams that were in the top 25 at the beginning of the season...

I'm not Impressed...There are more games being played each weekend than all of those combined...Most of those games are only interesting to gamblers!

And nobody else is showing any more 4K games than these with the exception of Notre Dame games on NBC (DISH doesn't have these)... There are only so many trucks that do 4K available and that is a network issue....
