Dish Scapes on 199 is interesting

The dish scapes have been feeling a bit underwhelming recently. I guess they can’t keep trying to top the last month’s every single month but the overlaying music is starting to feel overdone. For Christmas, I feel like it made more sense. May’s dish scape is quite peaceful but I think I’d prefer the natural sounds (especially if they’re gonna put a waterfall in there).

That is my biggest issue with this month's Dish Scape - the music. I much prefer the natural sounds of the animals, the breeze, the water hitting the rockets, etc. It is a beautiful sky and scene, but that sound takes away from it. Wish they could do something like they do with audio - on some channels you can change the audio to be Spanish instead of English. Would love it if one of the audio settings were natural sounds and then you could change the audio to have the music if you wanted that.

We're not big fans of the music either. Having said that, we don't like scenes with "sudden" nature or other types of sounds. Often we like having the channel on just for ambience and sudden noises don't help with that.
Either way, after watching for a while we usually turn the volume way down, just for the background sound.
Otherwise, we think Yosemite is very pretty and well done.

I was spooling Yosemite and fast forward to see "a day at Yosemite". Then DW asked to see the Western town. H3 is now rebooting.... I guess it's not yet ready for prime time.

So at Team Summit next week I will be meeting with some of the folks who bring us Dish Scapes!

Do you guys have any questions for them?

Can’t guarantee I will ask them all but I hope to get you a look behind the scenes. :)

It might be interesting knowing what the one letter a month is spelling. So far we have "22SEP".

The soundtrack on the Deserted Western Town dishscape is AWESOME!! Where can I find that? Would love to download it, or music like it.

Yosemite is pretty but this has been taken liberties with. Like the Denali one.
