Log into sling(dot)com and you will have a web based sling player. If your on a work computer you will still need rights to install the plug-ins. But if you have rights and use the web based version your software (Singplayer) won't stick out like a sore thumb on their audits, but your bandwidth usage will. If your company doesn't monitor or your on a home computer the Slingplayer is a better peice of software.
I can't access my sling box from work. Every time I launch sling player it says "Slingplayer can't connect to sling services, so some features ma be limited. You can still use slingplayer within your home network." So basically it can't find the internet from my work which sucks cause I am on the net all day long at work. I guess they just block it some how.
