Dish Remote Access Programming Guide Filter

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to my question, but what the heck...

Using web Remote Access, you have to log in to dish, where it knows your registered DVRs and your subscription... I just switched from cable & tivo to Dish, so I have a modest list of shows that I want to set back up to be recorded. I'm finding it easier to set up the recording through the web page, but I would really love 2 things - maybe someone here has a tip for me?

1> Would LOVE that the channel guide (Grid, Now, Today, Later) shows me if I already have a recording event set for the show.

2> Would REALLY LOVE to be able to set a Favorites filter, like I can on the guide in the DVR, so that I don't have to scroll through hundreds of channels that I have no interest in. I know I can use the Filter Edit, but that doesn't let me block channels, just for picking genre.

I also am interested in this. I wish there was a more intuitive way to channel surf throughout the week and throughout the channel line up.
