I now have a black DISH dish. He said that the newer DISH 1000+ and 500+ dishes have the elevation rod adjustment in the Skew Plate. Have you seen that too HipKat for your International installs? Well, birds never pooped on the old gray reflector. Maybe they prefer black, time will tell. They sure liked my mailbox until I installed plastic spikes. Black absorbs more sunlight, radiates more heatWhen I had both my black and grey dishes set up next to each other a few years ago, both on the eastern arc, the black dish melted ice and snow a little quicker than the grey dish.
