According to the uplink report, channel 596 & 597 are alternate feeds for SEC Network I believe. Will the SEC Network have Alt HD channels? I know the first two weeks there will be multiple games on at the same time. Or will the go regional?

Yes, the SEC has greater national exposure, because of the network (ESPN) that had concentrated their coverage on it for so long. National exposure does not necessarily equate to national appeal (except for the sheeple factor).

The addition of SEC to all subscribers has nothing to do with projected ratings or perceived demand. It's just another strong-arm negotiation tactic (read: extortion) by Disney.

Lol, where did you come up with that percentage? This channel is not in the multi sports Pack, it is national like the golf channel. 78% of SEC fans live outside the conference footprint
