Hi! Presently have had SkyAngel for 8 eight years. They have been losing Christian channels lately so have a chance to change. Friend is giving me a coolsat 4000 in good working condition. Would like to get a motorized 31" Fortec dish to go with it. Live in Tampa, Florida. What range of satellites will I be able to cover? Would like to cover 91 west to at least 107 west and possibly 123 West. What do you think?

Thanks, Don :)

welcome :wave

as long as you have a good view from the south to West sky you should be fine

In Tampa (heck, the South) has a pretty steep elevation for the dish to be aimed (between 40-50) so you should be fine even down to 123W, which is SW from your location

I know a few people in your situation (have Sky Angel and arent happy that channels got dropped) so they either replaced or added a FTA system for the religious channels and haven't regretted it :)

Most of them are on IA5 & AMC4 which would require a good SW view. Elevation is about 50 so unless you have HUGE trees in the way, you'll be fine :)
