Dish Pro 500 HD question

Can I use my Dish Pro 500 dual LNB dish currently pointed to 110 and 119 to receive HD programming or do I need a 1000 dish upgrade? I'm not interested in any VOOM programming.

Welcome to SatelliteGuys... Yes, with the HD pack you will receive the Hdnets, EspnHd, DiscoveryHd as well as SHO and HBO Hd's if you sub to the main packs...

I am currently only receiving distant networks and Sky Angel programming. The CSR I spoke to yesterday told me I could add HD and VOOM to my existing programming without adding an Americas Top ### package.
