I need to get my dish re-peaked. Rain fade comes way too easily on the HD channels, and I get 95-100% on the Ku bands but only 75-80% on the Ka bands.

The guy who did my install in November fumbled around with it a little too much for me to want that install company back, which is what I imagine I'd get if I called D*. So I'm wondering how is the best way to do this. Can I successfully dither the peaks with an HR21 or cheap Radio Shack meter? Is there a professional satellite dealer in metro Atlanta that I can pay and be reasonably sure it'll be done right?

TIA for any advice.

Edit: The dish is a slimline-5 with built in multiswitch, no SWM.

you can dither it by choosing the weakest signals on 99c and 103c but move in 1 number increments and check if it goes up or down. Shouldnt be hard to get 90+ on those 2 sats.
