Yes - the 622 is designed to feed an HDTV (TV1) in one room and a SD TV (TV2) in a different room. Both TV outputs can be independent ("Dual" mode). The "nearby" TV (TV1) is controlled by an IR remote and the second room TV (TV2) is controlled by a UHF remote that can work over some distance through walls, floors, etc. You can have completely independent operation for 2 TVs that way, but only one will be HD. The second one is SD and down-converted HD only.Lets_Dance said:...Are you saying that I can get the ViP622 DVR and you could control it from either room or are you saying to just replace the current receiver in the living room with the 622? As to the $200 credit, will I qualify for it since I am not a new member?
I believe anyone qualifies for the $199 ViP622 upgrade and also gets the $20 per month for 10 months programming credit if they sub to a "metallic" package.
