Dish Olympics Update

So channel 9399 that is on right now is the "Olympic Highlight Channel" . Is this one goign to switch over to HD or is it purely SD and for highlights only?

This is really great news. I won't mind so much when my 622 install gets bumped to March now. (I will still mind- just not as much)

Thanks Scott!

turns out from the retailer notes there is not going to be a special olympic HD feed on dish, it's just going to be universal Hd made available to all....

they didn't say anything like that. But if that's the case then the special feed is probably 9419 and universal HD mpeg2 at 110 is 9426

It appears that the monee uplink is done testing as I went by today one dish was pointing straight up and the other one looked kinda straight up and the 2nd one looked on track if not slighly above the sats.. so we will see :)

Can you guys please answer questions for the technical dummies (myself included) aka -- subscribers who only have a 110/119 feed.

We will be able to get a special NBC Feed, UHD, and OTA NBC-HD -- 3 total????

What satellites will the "special NBC-Feed" "UHD" be on????

I do not have a 61.5 or 129 yet!!!

So what are the options for those with a 721?

Will dish have the option of watching all of the olympic channels at once like we did last year with the elections?

If so, what channel or how do I get to it?

That Mosaic will be on channel 100 for receivers that support it. It will only support SD channel though and not the HD channels.
