No. The government sold the abandoned spectrum and the proceeds from that sale is what was used to reimburse the broadcasters. But, that reimbursement only covered the transition to DIGITAL BROADCAST TRANSMISSION. It did not cover costs to actually produce (or pass along) HD, or even SD content.

Email your state legislature to Vote for term limits on the US Congress. Many states have already passed this legislation. We need a amendment to the Constitution NOW. Lets get rid of the professional politicians.
