Dish Network sw21 switch question

Can a SW21 switch be used to combine the V and H outputs on a primestar lnb? What I'm looking at doing is something like....

P* LNB - SW21 - Diseqc 4x1 (port 1) - motor ---- \
P* LNB - SW21 - Diseqc 4x1 (port 2) ------------- Reciever
normal LNB ------ Diseqc 4x1 (port 3) ------------/

SW21s generally do not work with FTA receivers unless hackware has been installed. The best solution is a 2 x 4 DirecTV-type multiswitch. 13V connects to vertical, 18V connects to horizontal.

Thanks, that sort of what I figured. I bought a couple of P* dishes from a guy and he threw in 2 SW21 switches so I was wondering if I could get any use out of them.

just get a 3x4 (3rd port is antenna) or a 4x4 which would allow 2 LNB's to be combined
