The following local TV channels will be available: CBS Ch. 22 (WSBT), NBC Ch. 16 (WNDU), FOX Ch. 28 (WSJV), PBS Ch. 34 (WNIT), and Independent Ch. 46 (WHME).
This is the first time local TV channels are available by satellite in South Bend, providing an alternative to local cable TV service. DISH Network also provides digital video recording technologies, international channels and high definition TV to the South Bend area. Local channels will be offered at $4.99 per month for customers in the South Bend-Elkhart area until the local ABC affiliate is added to the programming.
