Dish Network Question

I have a basic question regarding Dish Network. I recently changed from Direct TV to Dish Network in my RV. With Direct TV, I had to periodically connect the TV through the satellite, even when not traveling, to prevent the connection from automatically disconnecting. In this case, I would have to contact Direct TV to have things reactivated. My question: Do you have to do the same thing with Dish Network?

yes it will. After a few days of not "checking in" the receiver will lose authorization

Sometimes the receiver will get its programming back on its own, but most times you need to call. I have a 211k I use in my Rv and sometimes I need to have a hit sent. It's really very easy, I usually do it through chat.
