He also had one too many receiver fees. It should have been $12 total, not $18
He also has the 211 for $14.00, it's $7.00 for a single HD receiver. Unless, he made a mistake and the receiver is a 222.

Don't you just hate that the internet is forever?
I wonder when he files with his AG or whatever, if he'll show him that he already knew all this 2 years ago? Anybody wanna take bets?
Dish would need to be about 72 dollars less per month for me to switch back.WoW Hemi we can get you switch back and start saving 6 cents a month that .72 cents you could be re investing some where lol.
Good to see you back around Hemi.
Every thing goes up . gas beer tv I still drive to the beer store and drink my cold beer while watching tv. It is life so sit back drink a cold one and enjoy it and stop bitching.
I agree with you 100%. It's astounding to me that so many people here will make the statement "well you signed the contract", or "the contract says they can raise prices anytime". Comon people grow a pair. This country wasn't built on the adage of "bend over and take it cause we said so".
/Wow, Only $1 less then D* base Packs./
Where did you learn math? DirecTV choice is $58.99 to start. That is a difference of $14, not $1. And if you want HD and a second room you are up to $73.99. With DN you are still at $44.99, and the difference is up to $29.
English Packages
Dish's contract can say anything it wants to, and you can sign that contract, but that contract isn't necessarily a LEGAL contract.
There is a new package from D called Select that appears to have a base price of $44.99. The channel selection seems worse than Dish to me.
that line up is a old line up select is not that bad I would say the final product is on par with at120
What channels your seeing are the old select now knwn as select classic 39.99
New select added some channels and where there before and went up to 44.99
You know what I am not the one who compared 250 to choice xtra.
1. that is not the right select package. that is the old select package that now known as Select Classic and is 39.99
2. I dont have a list of the New Select Package which is 44.99 but includes on to those channels food network history and quite a few others. So the dbs talk list it out of date .
3. Anyone can get Select or Select Classic New customer signing up for service can get 15 dollars off Select 44.99 price simliar to the dish AT120 deal.
Dont as k me why it not there they have decided not th advertise it .
Also trust me the florida taxes are just silly no mater who your with as satellite a fixed 13.17% Cable is 9.17 + local tax range from 5 to 6.5 %
Also I pay out the nose for property tax, so to the troll bait who said dont feel sorry for them we pay way more taxes then people in NYC proper and they get it with a tone of taxes from Federal / State/ city taxes. Florida is once of the more expensive places to live because even if your retired or renting your still spend a ton on tax.
But I only used FL as an example as they are the highest tax rate on programing and it not something either company can cicrumvent.
All Cable and DBS providers raise prices. I do not know why people act so shocked that Dish raises them too... Two year lock probably means no major programming contracts coming up in the next 2 years to force an increase. One can probably mostly thank FOX for this price increase...
