Surprised no one posted this yet but DishNetwork made a bid offer to buy Sprint at $7 a share. The stock popped to $7.33 in before hours trading on 4-15. I sold all my shares of Sprint with this announcement. Time to take the profits in the buying frenzy.

Satellite-TV provider Dish Network's $25.5 billion bid for Sprint Nextel trumps the offer made by Softbank last October and -- on paper, at least -- looks good for investors. But some analysts question whether it'll be such a clear win for consumers.

On Monday, Dish (DISH) said its bid for Sprint (US-S) , the No. 3 U.S. wireless carrier in the U.S., represents a 13% premium over Japanese telecom giant Softbank's offer to buy 70% of the company. Investors welcomed the Dish proposal, sending Sprint's shares surging 16%, to their highest level since September 2008.

Edit- Sorry, saw it on the front page. My system bypasses that so I missed it.
