Dish Network/HD Recording &TiVO

I have a 65" Mitsubishi HDTV ready and Dish Network. How do I go about getting HDTV and digital recording. a) Buy the 921; b) Purchase one of the HDTV receivers and hook TiVO into it; c) Can't be done.
What would be the most cost effective way? Thanks in adavance for your responses.

The only ways to record HD content from Dish is to pruchase the 921 for $549 or a professional component D-VHS recorder for a couple thousand dollars.

Where can I get the 921 for $549? Dish Network still advertise them in their site for $999. Thanks.
