Okay, so I have dish network, and I am wanting to record all "American Idol" episodes and put them on DVDs with my DVD recorder. There is just one problem. The TV I want to record the episodes on is a TV2, which means there is no receiver. So, I have to use a coaxial cable. This means the audio is mono. Is there any way I can make the sound stereo? Like any type of coverter? Thanks.

I don't know what receiver you have but TV2 from my 722 via coax IS stereo. Not 5.1 DD, but stereo-- not mono. Might be different with an older receiver?
