I am going to hook up a multiswitch to a dish is Alaska - Here are some details, and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction....
The dish is a 1.2m dish with a dual output LNBF on it - The ones that will do Directv and Dish, so I am guessing those are the legacy LNB's..
They currently have two 301 receivers connected to the dish - Each receiver to one output - Works well. I know thae are missing some programming only using the 119 sat, but they are fine with that.
I want to add at least two more 301 receivers to the dish - I am guessing I would need a SW44 - correct? Will it work with just the 119 dish without hooking up to the other two sets of inputs for the 110 etc?
I have also read as long as its a single dish I can use the standard multiswith like the directv one - Is this true? I would like to have the eight outputs if possible without cascading switches.
What are the thoughts on this setup - Am I on the right page? Any input?
TIA
Chris
