Dish Network and Citadel settle long retransmission dispute - DISH Network Corporation (NASDAQ:DISH) | Seeking Alpha

After a number of extensions, Dish Network (DISH -2.3%) and Citadel Communications have ended a long-running retransmission dispute to bring WLNE-TV back to Dish's system.

The previous deal had expired Aug. 18, but the Providence, R.I., station didn't go dark, through a number of short extensions.

Dish had handed out digital antennas in case customers needed them to watch the ABC affiliate over the air.

dish has a history of this, i still have the exterior antenna they gave me. and installed free, years ago during a dispute
