DISH NETWORK ADDS TWO TOP KOREAN-LANGUAGE CHANNELS TO INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMING LINE-UP

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Nov. 3, 2005 – EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH) and its DISH Network™ satellite television service now offers two Korean language channels – JSTV and WOW-TV– in its international programming lineup. With the addition of these two channels, DISH Network now offers four Korean channels.

“We believe these top-rated, Korean-language channels greatly improve the quality of our growing lineup of popular Korean channels,” said Tracy Thompson, vice president of International Programming for DISH Network.

JSTV is the number-one rated, 24-hour, Korean-language Christian channel in North America. JSTV’s programming includes Christian related news, business, music, bible studies, gospels and worship services. JSTV also broadcasts locally produced programs and programming from the Korean broadcasting channels commonly referred to as CBS and CTS.

WOW-TV is a 24-hour Korean-language business and financial news channel. WOW-TV provides up-to-the-minute market coverage as well as commentary from journalists.

“Expanding international horizons through televised cultural programming is embedded in our mission and we knew that DISH Network was the best U.S. platform to aid in our mission,” said Brian Park, president of iSkyCom. “Launching WOW-TV and JSTV on DISH Network offers viewers top-rated live news and analysis from their home country and the best Christian programs in their own language.”

JSTV and WOW-TV are available as part of the Korean Basic Pack for $29.99 per month or the Korean Variety Pack for $36.99 per month. Customers who do not subscribe to a qualifying basic programming package will be charged a $5.00 per month Service Access Fee. An additional dish antenna or single SuperDISH antenna is required to receive basic and international programming.

JSTV is located on channel 654 (61.5-degree and 148-degree orbital locations) and channel 668 (121-degree orbital location). WOW-TV is located on channel 655 (61.5-degree and 148-degree orbital locations) and channel 661 (121-degree orbital location).

DISH Network now offers 118 international channels from 25 countries in 28 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, Bangla and Kannada.
