This came across my desk yesterday and I found it amusing and though I would share.

Job Title: Retention Marketing Campaign Manager

Employee Type: Full Time Employee

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree (I'm sure this is flexible)

What are we going to be campaigned into "not leaving"? How about dumping the receiver fees as a start?! Oh and fixing the EPG. And . . .

I'm going to be very curious as to what comes of this. If anything at all.
 
Higher prices will come out of it for all. This is the way All programming disputes turn out everytime. DISH will cave eventually and your bill will go up come February. IF not an increase in programming costs , then DISH will come up with some other new fee like the new monthly $4.00 Google fee, the Sling fee $4.00 on top of your dvr fee,or the Additional receiver fees will go up.... AGAIN!
 
I wonder if whoever had this job previously got canned for poor performance?

if you didnt abuse your customers wallets retention would be easier......
