Dish IPad apps

I have the original Hopper, not the Hopper with Sling. Does the Dish Explorer App for IPad work with it? I have read conflicting information on it.

I realized the Dish Transfers App only works with the Hopper with Sling. I am curious how people like this app and if it might be worth upgrading my Hopper just to be able to use it.

I just did a test and the dish explorer app does work with the original Hopper.

It is worth contacting DiRT to see. I got one of my Hoppers upgraded to a Hopper with Sling fro free with a new 2 year commitment.
