Dish install question

I want to cancel DTV and get Dish.
I call Dish up and they send an installer in and the man tells me I don't have a line of sight to receive the signal. He says its the sat with the hidef stuff on it. (that's what I wanted mostly).
I have the 5 lnb dish from Direct and I have no problems.
I thought both companies used the same sats (110 and 119) Am I wrong or should this work?

110 & 119 are common to both services but 129 10 degrees to the west is the problem for you. Your only alternative is a view to 61.5 well to the east of your current view.
