Kinda. When you are properly aligned, the Dish's Zenith is at your True South Sat.I read where it is done at True South which is where I took the measurement,
is that the same as highest point ?
My Pansat 2500 for 123 Galaxy 18
LNB type: Standard
LNB local Freq : 5150
22kHz : on
Diseqc : off
Legacy SW : none
Skew : 51
Tp : 3920 V 26.470
Positioner Setting : USALS
Satellite Scan : All
Are you using a 22KHz switch with two LNB's such as another dish with a Ku LNB?
Kinda. When you are properly aligned, the Dish's Zenith is at your True South Sat.
There is nothing Active on AMC9 right now, there may be a few feeds later
I would drive the Dish to the West a little and Blind Scan
I would try Galaxy 17 @ 91 west, many powerful TPs there, and it's just a little to the west of your True South Sat.that's why I have been trying galaxy 18 .
If you are not using a switch, then the setting does not matter.
I would try Galaxy 17 @ 91 west, many powerful TPs there, and it's just a little to the west of your True South Sat.
I will turn off the switch.
should I set the tp to the list in the " I need a strong transponder thread "
91 (G17 AKA G11)-12050 V 13350
Things you should have mentioned "yesterday" LOLI did a blind scan before I knew I had the wrong settings and it came up with 14 channels half of them had noise and all had some kind of scrambled looking mess .
Yes, you're thinking is correct. The receiver is the dumbest thing there is. "You" are the intelligent link between the receiver and the dish. The receiver doesn't really know what Sat the Dish is pointed at.I did a blind scan and looks like I am picking up G17 unless it is saying G17 because that is what I told it to scan !!
If your Dish is pointing to the South, I'd guess you are on Galaxy 28 @ 89 west. After the doors show it said pbs.org
