I drive to work every day and I'm always on the lookout for a new dish showing up. After almost 15 years of driving there and about 3 in this "hobby" I sort of notice new things 'cause its been the same old thing for years anyway from what I could tell there is this 36" motorized that showed up about 2 months ago and I have been keeping my eye on it every day. It moves around a bit and I swear it was pointed at 148 one day. Well in the last week the KU lnb was hanging down and it became a mini-bud and it looks like its working 'cause its been in the same spot for a few days. So if that person is on this forum and wouldn't mind me dropping by after work to nose around that dish ,so I can get some ideas of how I could do the same thing that would be great. I have never attempted a mini-bud with that small of a dish ,but hey if it works then I'm willing to give it a shot. Plus it looks like the lnb is at quite an angle ,but buzzing by at 50mph and there is always someone behind me ,so I cant slow down to get a better look at it.

The moral of this story is there still seems to be people getting into this "hobby" and it puts a smile on my face every day to see someone actually making an attempt to try something new and having it work. Also if that person is reading this isn't that group of trees on the other side of the road an issue?

LOL. Got to be the nastiest animal on the face of the earth, but the pancakes and sausage breakfast is good every year. Oh and there is a C in Hinckley ( sadly I forgot the C in the title. )

I doubt that he gets much on a 90cm. I get some decent channels on a 1.2M , but can't imagine what I'd get on my 90cm with a C-band lnbf. Maybe all he wants is STO on 121W. Probably THAT would come in on a 90cm mini-BUD.
:)

Yea ,but there is a DN dish next to it that was there for years, so I would assume he already had it.
