Sometimes you just need faith. Not everyone is full of trash. I'm just trying to help people.

gokartergo said:And I will be the first to admit.. I could be wrong.. Just checked my Hoppers and I have S219.. Where did you see it posted that we get it first.. Was it on the tech portal?? I went and didn't see anything..
gokartergo said:I do analogize to you.. I guess they are sending it out to use first. But still not posted anywhere. And nothing on the tech portal forums..
Wait. What?Nah, you're just reading into it too much. As of yesterday it was announced dishscribers will get them first to post feedback on dishforum. Silly people.
Was kinda my point. Dish is wanting bugs worked out before its pushed out.
It always helps to post in a clear manner. That way, people understand exactly what you are trying to say. It can avoid misunderstandings.Of course I also thought pretty much everyone was friendly on here.

So S219 is the latest? Stability is the only thing you've noticed? My Hoppers are pretty stable with S217. My main issue is (as you seem to be mentioning) MoCA. I don't ever have MoCA disappear like it is doing with you, but sometimes the other receivers are not shown in the "Whole-Home" menu after the nightly reboots. A red button reboot always fixes it though.
I would think it would depend on what kind of DISH employee you are. I highly doubt that a CSR or an installer is going to get updates first. Any proof to this claim? Or point for that matter?
It's not select employees. It's any employee that has a hopper. I haven't had any equip disappear in the whole home but when you reset the moca connection it grey's out. Testing bridging now.
