They just noted that they believe no one can make an STB less than Echostar, since they use their own ref design and contract out with 3rd parties. No middleman profit.

I was able to tune in on my PDA and hear that comment, I was laughing like hell hearing that comment.
Yes, after after swapping out my 2nd "failed HDMI" 622 in the past 4 months, I fully support that statement.
Hopefully my HDMI works on the new TV.
I have a feeling the HDMI issue is hardware issue not a software problem. (In fact I am almost SURE of this)

OK, there are 2 uplinked already (Indianapolis, Raleigh). So only 1 of the remaining 20 planned for 2006 is going to make it? 29 of 48 announced, or a shade over 60%.BFG said:
the real results are released before the call. they were out last night in fact. the market reacts to taht and the conference calls themselves are seldom meaningful.
